Deskletts sind Programme, die ohne Rand und Menüs bzw. Toolbars auf dem Desktop dargegestellt werden. Die Ränder können z.B. abgerundet werden. So kann man sich wichtige Informationen anzeigen lassen. Leider sind in der aktuellen wxBasic Version einige Überwachungsfunktionen für Ordner oder Festplatte noch nicht implementiert. In der kommenden Version 3, die auf das neue wxWidgets 3 aufsetzt, werden mehr Möglichkeiten vorhanden sein.
Deskletts are programs that are displayed on the desktop without borders and menus or toolbars. The edges may be e.g. rounded down. This allows you to display important information. Unfortunately, in the current wxBasic version some monitoring functions for folders or hard disk are not yet implemented. In the upcoming version 3, which is based on the new wxWidgets 3, there will be more possibilities.
Desklett Time
Das desklett_time demonstriert die Darstellung der aktuellen Uhrzeit auf dem Bildschirm. Mit der rechten Maustaste sind einige Einstellungen aufrufbar. So kann z.B. der Font, die Farbe und die Umrandung eingestellt werden.
The desklett_time demonstrates the display of the current time on the screen. You can use the right mouse button to access some settings. So you can change e.g. the font, the color and the border.
